Copics and Paper Piecing
By Alicia.R. | January 3, 2011
I completed this card really late last night whilst waiting for Quentin to return home from a derailment. (Yes some essential trains are now running, and yes one had a recurring issue yesterday)
I used the card on page 12 of the magazine I mentioned yesterday as layout and technique inspiration for this cute and very quick card. I love how the paper piecing turned out and how easy it is to coordinate an image with paper scraps instead of spending loads of time matching pens.
Here’s what I used:
Stamps – Girl (CC Designs), Sentiment (Image Tree)
Patterned Papers – SEI – Really Really Old
Copics – E000, E00, E21, R20 (Skin); E33, E35, E37, E39 (Hair)
Other – Memento Rich Cocoa ink, Vanilla Versacolour ink, Vandoros ribbon, Basic Grey pearls, sander, Spellbinders Nestibilities oval and scalloped oval dies
