First things first the winner of my July Card Sketch Challenge is Rachel. Congratulations Rachel, your voucher is in the mail.
Samples of my classes for the next three weeks have been uploaded to the Classes page at the Scrapbook Fantasies Blog.
My Copic Classes will be changing format from the start of October. To compensate for this change I am running extras of my current Copic class format during August and September. A copy of the Scrapbook Fantasie class calendar can be found: here. The new format will be technique and practice based, but won’t include a card kit.
Life has been very busy just lately (as you can see from my inactivity here). We have so far in the last two months had to replace our toilet, washing machine and beaters, along with repairing the bath tub too. I have been teaching heaps at Scrapbook Fantasies, and the kids have had a lot of activities on – including Milton going to Brisbane for Music. I have had an employee and friend finish-up at the shop as she leaves Gladstone to move closer to her family and finish her studies. I have also re-organised part of my studio after some re-shuffling at the shop created a need for a piece of my studio furniture. It isn’t all bad, and most of it was quite funny (not always at the time) including the washing machine debarkle.
We have also had our best retreat ever at Scrapbook Fantasies. I say each year that is was the best, mostly because they do get less stressful each time. This was our ninth retreat and from the feedback we have received everyone enjoyed themselves. This is a picture of the ladies who attended this wonderful weekend away.
