A little while ago I liked an Altered Paintbrush Swap on Facebook, and somehow I also signed-up for it too. So to cut a long story short I made my Altered Paintbrush, sent it away and then forgot all about it – moving along to last week I thought I had better check if it had arrived safely and it did….so now I am here to share some images of my Altered Paintbrush. I love how it turned out and will definitely be making one for my new Studio (when I get the time of course).

Happy Creating and have a wonderful day
I also forgot to share the ornaments and notebook I made for the December Card Club at Scrapbook Fantasies. Once again I won’t go into the details, and anyone needing more info is welcome to leave a message or send me an email and I will be happy to help.
This is what my desk looked like on Tuesday night after a big creativity session making Naomi-Jon and my Halloween swap items for today at Scrapbook Fantasies.
This is my Haunted House Pencil Holder. I have used some Tim Holtz cutting dies and a lot of Ranger products to create the Haunted House as per Tim’s tag instructions on his Blog.
This is the Lantern Basket I made for Naomi-Jon to swap. The La-La Land stamp has been Copic coloured and paper pieced. The lantern basket is similar to the one featured in the Chocolate Dreams issue of the Magnolia Magazine.
This is the gift that I made for the WOYWW 2nd Anniversay PiF swap. I sent it to Spyder (Lyn) in the UK and it has finally arrived. I really hope she enjoys this notebook as much as I enjoyed creating it.
The card that I sent with it was featured in this post just before the 2nd Anniversary.
We had our traditional “Family” Santa portrait today at Stockland and the kids each received an ornament decorating kit from Santa. This is the beautiful piece of art that Noah created with his, with the addition of half a bottle of Kindy Glitz. (It is actually a Gingerbread Man)
Today was the Card Club Christmas Party at Scrapbook Fantasies and we did Recipe tags for our swap.
I made everyone a cover for their books.
My tag has my Apricot Chicken Recipe on the back.
Naomi-Jon even made tags with our favourite easy biscuit recipe on the back.
And this is how the books looked when finished. (I made the little rolling pin and whisk for everyones book also)
And this is the Masterboard that I taught…
Today is the last day of School and I have created what I think are two very lovely Teacher Gifts. As both Amanda and Jane are pregnant I created a neutral frame for a Baby Scan (or newborn) photograph for each of them. The kids absolutely love them and I am very happy with the results. (Please excuse the glass glare in the photographs)
I created this little piece this morning for the latest challenge over at Simon Says Stamp and Show.

Last night I did a spot of cleaning and this was the result…
And today I followed it with some serious creating. These two hangers are gifts I have been asked to make, but can’t reveal who for or it will spoil the surprise. Anyway here are some pics followed by a list of what I used.

Distress Inks – Scattered Straw, Stormy Sky, Aged Mahogany, Vintage Photo

I saw this challenge at Linda Elbournes blog and just had to have a go. I have always admired the work of Wendy Vecchi and now that I own some of her fab stamps I am in heaven. It was a real pleasure to just create for me without a deadline, a class looming or any pressure whether work or self imposed. Anyways here is my take on the latest challenge over at Simons Says Stamp and Show…
I used a Papermania Bare-book cover, Distress Inks (Walnut Stain, Broken China, Rusty Hinge, Crushed Olive and Frayed Burlap), a blending tool, Cut’n’Dry foam, Walnut Stain Distress Stickles, Wendy Vecchi stamps, Tim Holtz stamps, Grunge Paper, Grunge Alphabet Soup letters, a Maya Road pin, cotton lace, K&Co papers (from about 6 years ago), a Tim Holtz mask, beads, wire, Tim Holtz Alterations dies, Cuttlebug machine, silver eyelets (at least 8 years old), press-studs, printed twill tape, Jet Black Archival Ink, Cloud White Versamagic Ink, white mat board and a button.
