Cardmaking Class – Retiform Technique

It’s that time of the week again when I reveal the Cardmaking Class I will be teaching at my store (Scrapbook Fantasies) on Tuesday @ 10am and Wednesday @ 6pm, which is a trio of cards using the Retiform Technique and Darkroom Door Stamps.

The class is only $17, which includes a kit and use of my tools and mixed media supplies.  I do ask that you bring along basic tools and adhesives, including a trimmer, blue/teal edging ink and score-pal if you have them.

Happy Creating and have a wonderful day

Scrap Our Stash – February 2017 – Our Blessing

Hi and welcome back for another post about a layout I created at the recent Scrapbook Fantasies Retreat that my husband and I hosted.

This is the layout I created for the current Scrap Our Stash challenge, which is to use a row from a Tic-Tac-Toe board – which I used Doily, Hearts, Tag – using one of the goodie packs we gave everyone who attended our Retreat.

The packs were made with the Bo Bunny Baby Bump collection cards, which gave me loads of things to cut out and layer.

The photograph is of Amelia-Ann at her Baptism, sleeping in my arms – and I am not included as my eyes were closed.

I have added layers and scattered meaningful details to unify my layout and further enhance the photograph.

So that is my take on the February challenge from Scrap Our Stash, and now it is your turn to create with it too:

Scrap the Girls – February 2017 – Love this Girl

Hi and welcome back to another layout about a layout I created at the recent Scrapbook Fantasies Retreat that my husband and I hosted.

This is the layout I created for the current Scrap the Girls challenge, which is to use a specific sketch and multiple photographs, which I have turned 90 degrees and flipped.

I have used photographs of Naomi-Jon, who does look exactly like Amelia-Ann does now.  It is so uncanny how similar the girls are in looks, however there are quite a few differences in temperament that surface regularly.

I have added a lots of layers and pieces cut from the Bo Bunny patterned papers that I have used.

So that is my take on the February challenge from Scrap the Girls, and now it is your turn to create with it too:
